Technological Process
- Product & Mold Design: Optimize parting lines and core-pulling solutions based on product structure, complete 3D mold design and 2D machining drawings.
- Steel Cutting & Rough Machining: Cut NAK80 steel to size and perform rough milling to remove most of the excess material.
- Semi-finishing & Heat Treatment: Semi-finish the mold components and perform pre-hardening treatment to stabilize NAK80 hardness at HRC38-42.
- Precision Machining: Multi-axis CNC finish the cavity, slides and guide pin holes; wire-cut EDM process inserts and holes; EDM finish sharp corners and ribs.
- Surface Treatment & Polishing: Conduct mirror polishing, grain or spark texture treatment as required to improve appearance and demolding performance.
- Mold Assembly & Trial Molding: Complete mold assembly, conduct multiple trial moldings and adjustments to ensure product dimensions and appearance meet requirements before delivery.
