Custom Brass Fitting
This brass fitting is a precision CNC-machined connector designed for fluid and gas pipeline systems. Made of high-quality brass, it features excellent thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and easy processing performance. With precision machined threads and sealing surfaces, it ensures reliable connection and zero leakage under rated pressure. Widely used in plumbing, pneumatic systems, industrial equipment and fluid transmission applications.
- Machining Process: Precision CNC turning, threading, deburring
- Material: Brass (H59/H62, customizable)
- Accuracy: ±0.02 mm
- Surface Finish: Polishing /Natural brass finish optional
- Pressure Rating: Up to 1.6 MPa (customizable per specification)
Machined Connector for Controlled Fluid and Gas Transfer
The custom brass fitting creates a compact connection between pipes, hoses, valves, gauges and equipment ports. CNC turning controls the thread profile, sealing shoulder, internal passage and external hexagonal surfaces from a shared machining reference. This keeps the connection geometry consistent and helps the fitting seat correctly during installation.
Brass offers strong resistance to water, air and many non-aggressive industrial fluids. Its natural machinability supports clean threads, smooth bores and detailed sealing structures without excessive tool marks. The material also transfers heat readily, which suits systems exposed to changing fluid temperatures or local thermal buildup.
Thread Geometry and Sealing Surface Control
Connection reliability depends on more than the nominal thread size. Thread pitch, flank angle, effective diameter and engagement length must match the mating port. CNC thread cutting keeps these features within the required range, reducing cross-threading, loose engagement and uneven tightening.
The sealing method can use tapered threads, parallel threads with a gasket, compression structures or machined metal contact surfaces. Flatness and surface condition receive close attention where washers, O-rings or sealing cones make contact. Smooth transition areas also reduce sharp internal edges that may disturb flow or collect residue.
Internal passages can follow straight, stepped or reduced-bore designs. Bore diameter and wall thickness can be adjusted to balance flow capacity, pressure resistance and overall fitting size. External features may include hex flats, wrench sections, knurled areas or mounting shoulders for easier installation.
Core Advantages & Applications
Common Applications
- Plumbing Systems: Water pipe connection fittings for residential and commercial use
- Pneumatic Systems: Air circuit connectors for pneumatic tools and equipment
- Refrigeration & HVAC: Refrigerant pipeline fittings for air conditioners and refrigeration units
- Industrial Fluid Systems: Connection components for hydraulic and fluid transmission equipment
Inspection may cover thread gauges, bore diameter, overall length, sealing-face condition and external dimensions. Each custom brass fitting can also undergo visual and pressure-related checks according to the project specification, helping the finished connector maintain consistent fit across replacement parts and recurring production batches.
